"But you, brethren are not in darkness, so this day should overtake you as a thief.
You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.
Therefore let us not sleep as others do but let us watch and be sober.
For those who sleep, sleep at night. And those who get drunk, get drunk at night.
But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Therefore comfort each other and edify one another as you also are doing". 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11
"Hypocrites! You can discern the face of the sky and of the earth, but how is it you do not discern this time?" Luke 12:56
"So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not"
let the reader understand
Mark 13:14
"But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be." Matthew 24:37-39
The Day of the Lord
"But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the Day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night. For when they say "Peace and Safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape." 1 Tessalonians 5:3
The Parable of the Fig Tree
Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees.
When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near.
So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away."
Luke 21:29-33
"But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon his people. And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled." Luke 21:20/24
"Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the LORD said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping things and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them". But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. Genesis 6:5-8
"The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth." Genesis 6: 11-12
The Ark prepared
"And God said to Noah "The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth." Genesis 13
Jesus answered them :
" I told you, and you did not believe. The works that I do in My Father's name, they bear witness of Me. But you do not believe, because you are not My sheep. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I shall give them eternal life, and they shall not perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My father who has given them to Me is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand.
I and My Father are one." John 10: 25-30
"Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that day will not come until the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped so that he sits as God in the temple of God showing that he is God.
Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time.
For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of his mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them a strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
2 Thessalonians 2
Jesus replied, "Not everyone can accept this Word, but only those to whom it has been given." Matthew 19:11
"Then the LORD said to Noah, "Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation." [..]
"And it came to pass after seven days that the waters of the flood were on the earth. In the six hundredth years of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights." [..]
"And they went into the Ark to Noah, two by two, of all flesh in which is the breath of life.
So those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God commanded him;
and the LORD shut him in." Genesis 7:1;10;15-16
